Arkoudilas Beach
Wild, cliff-backed, and gloriously empty
At the southern tip of Corfu, below sandstone cliffs and a forest of cypress and pine, Arkoudilas is the island at its wildest. The long strip of golden sand feels almost private — the dirt-track access keeps the crowds away, and the reward is a raw, unspoiled shoreline with the open Ionian rolling in. There are no facilities at all, so bring everything you need. The track is rough — this is quad and buggy territory, and half the fun is the ride down through the forest. One of the last truly wild beaches on Corfu.
